Time needed
If you cut up the vegetables and start sautéing while your pasta cooks, this recipe can be on the table in 20 minutes.
If you prefer to take a little longer but only use one pot, you can cook the pasta in the same pot you will use to cook the kielbasa and vegetables (it will take 10-15 minutes longer depending on how long it takes your pasta to cook).
Even using one pot, you can have this dish on the table in about 35 minutes!
What you need to make Kielbasa Pepper Pasta
- Bowtie pasta. You can switch up the pasta—penne and rotini work well too.
- Green & red bell pepper. Use any color bell peppers.
- Red onion. If you don't have red onion, yellow is fine.
- Butter. Vegetable oil can be used, but butter gives a better flavor.
- Beef kielbasa.
- Salt & pepper.

Serve with fresh grated Parmesan cheese if desired.
Make it your own
This is a very forgiving recipe and is perfect for using what you have. Try different pastas, switch up the veggies, or add some heat with spicy chilies.
You can increase or decrease the amount of pasta, veggies, and meat—the ratio is adjustable.
If you like things cheesy, add some shredded cheddar before removing from heat.
