Heat the brown sugar and cider over medium heat, stirring frequently, until brown sugar is dissolved.

Step 3

Add the sliced onion and kielbasa to the brown sugar and vinegar syrup and cover. Cook for 15 minutes, stirring occasionally.

Step 4

Uncover and cook for an additional 5-10 minutes or until liquid is almost gone.

Step 5

Garnish with parsley if desired. If serving as an appetizer, provide toothpicks and small plates.
