Baked Honey and Lemon Chicken
With just five ingredients, Baked Honey and Lemon Chicken is easy to prepare and is juicy and full of flavor.
Ingredients
- 2 lbs. chicken, bone in (about 6 pieces)
- 2 Tbsp. butter, melted
- â…“ cup honey
- ¼ cup lemon juice
- 1 Tbsp. soy sauce
Instructions
- Heat oven to 400°F.
- Place chicken in a 9x13 inch baking dish; drizzle with melted butter. Bake chicken for 30 minutes.
- Combine honey, lemon juice, and soy sauce. Pour mixture over chicken and bake for another 30 minutes or until cooked through.

I'm a huge fan of simple, flavorful recipes, and M4M hasn't disappointed me yet. So many recipes found online, even (or particularly) on professional menus are so bland. My family complains every time I try a new recipe. But this chicken was SO GOOD. I did use boneless, skinless chicken, so we didn't get the nice baked skin these probably have if you follow the recipe, but I made two lbs of chicken and my 17yo finished all of it that night. I'm going to have to stop making M4M recipes because I no longer have leftovers for lunch the next day. LOL
